Meet the Team

  • CC Haug (she/they)

    Owner

CC is the owner and operator of Good Judy Garage. With a degree in mechanical engineering and over 25 years experience fixing and building anything with a motor, CC is a master mechanic whose knowledge and ability is hard to rival. A gender non-conforming, transwoman, CC believes labels are for wine, not people (“I’m just me”). Being able to offer the community a shop that not only performs exceptional work, but where all are welcome regardless of orientation and presentation, is a dream come true.

  • Faith Haug (she/her)

    Co-Owner

Faith (pictured with her daughter, Helena) is the founder of Good Judy Garage. She has had a long career in the funeral industry, is the Program Chair and Professor at Arapahoe Community College’s Mortuary Science Program. When the thought that someone should open a queer auto shop came up in conversation one day, she said why not us? Faith has an MBA, is pursuing a Doctorate, cares deeply about the LGBTQ community, and drives CC nuts with her favorite saying: “Well, let’s just see what happens!”.

  • Soph Ives (she/they)

    Shop Manager/Co-Owner

Soph is our Shop Manager! They are our "person-of-all-trades" - they know the office/administration side of Good Judy, but spend most of their time managing the shop and helping our customers get back on the road!

  • Grace McCain (she/her)

Grace is our Front Desk Coordinator, so if you come in for an oil change, she will not be working on your car! Her hands are much too soft!! Grace is a recent trans-plant from Oklahoma. She claims that she needed to move because “things were getting too hot” and that the “wind stopped sweeping down the plain,” but we suspect that she moved to Colorado specifically to come work with us. Grace has a background in all forms of writing for money from copywriting to ghostwriting and barista-ing. When asked about her goals, she told us that her 2023 resolution was to help the people around her smile more, which is why we gave her the job of greeting our clients as they walk into the shop. Her dream job is to join the fairies and elves in the forest, but until she happens to find them, she is making great contributions to our team.

  • Nandor (the Relentless)

Nandor (aptly named after the character Nandor from the TV show “What We Do in the Shadows”) is the shop dog! He is a standard poodle, a drama queen, and he keeps the staff motivated. He loves treats and gives an expert side-eye when parts delivery drivers neglect to bring him one.

  • Nayeli Orduna

Nayeli (she/her) has worked closely with her Master Mechanic stepdad all her life. He helped her develop her technical skills in all types of odd jobs. When she is not working, Nayeli loves spending time with her daughter, teaching her to cook and keep up with car maintenance. She also enjoys trying new food, binge-watching shows, and cycling around scenic routes. Nayeli también es bilingüe, si necesitan ayuda en español aquí estará para ayudarles.here
